Have you lived, or do you live in a studio apartment? If so, how was it / is it like?

I have lived in a studio apartment. It was small and private, but frankly kind of lonely. I fully understand not being happy with room mates, but when you are young I believe living with room mates is a great deal more fun and worth the trade of being the king of your castle and more importantly the most economic way to live. You just might need to find some better suited room mates to meet your desired lifestyle. I opted to live platonic-ally with a couple of girls one year and it worked out very well both in cleanliness and dating success.
