If you don't want your son to feel rejected, don't reject him. If he goes to live with his father, it should ONLY be after you have put in the time and effort to resolve his issues - sending him away while the two of you have unresolved issues is like telling him he is damaged and unfixable. You are his mother - it is your job to fix this, mom.
