What phone to get? What company to use?

Right now I have at&t... I have a LG Neon that I have had for over a year; it is a piece of crap. I want a cool phone that is 100 dollars or less... & that works well. Any phone suggestions? Also; should I switch to another phone company besides AT&T? I want unlighted internet; picture message; text message & talk for pretty cheap. What's the cheapest I can get all that? With good service? No contract? And with what company? Thanks(:
